Family Trust Beteiligungsholding has acquired all operating assets of Alma Extrusions AG in an asset deal. Alma, based in Cormagens near Fribourg in Switzerland, is a leading manufacturer of customized plastic films and compostable films for food packaging. The company develops and produces multilayer composite films, which are characterized by the highest quality and a pronounced degree of customization, and which are used in coffee capsules and milk packaging, among other applications. Alma’s customers are mainly thermoformers based in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, which produce for international food groups.<\/p>\n
Family Trust is thus implementing the succession of the previous CEO and sole member of the Board of Directors, who is retiring as part of the joint transaction; all operational employees and the proven management team will remain with the company.<\/p>\n
