Challenges

The success story of Hyla Germany is the result of exceptional entrepreneurial achievement, largely thanks to the company’s founders. They sought a succession solution that could not be managed within the family.

Additionally, the company’s unrelenting growth required urgent professionalization of its structures and processes. This combination of a succession situation and the need for operational optimization was tailor-made for Family Trust. Investment approach

The aim of Family Trust is to continue Hyla Germany’s growth story in close cooperation with the founding family and to develop the company into a leading direct-to-consumer specialist. We have developed and implemented a large number of measures to achieve this.

These included the establishment of suitable processes and structures as well as the careful implementation of entrepreneurial succession and the end-to-end digitalization of the organization. Despite all the transformation and realignment, the aim was to maintain the high growth momentum.

Development since acquisition

Key milestones in the growth plan were achieved in the first year after the acquisition. The management team was supplemented by professional new additions and the organization was almost completely digitalized.

At the same time, the company has grown by more than 50 percent with high profitability. What’s more, Hyla Germany is making great strides in the market to become the leading German player for digital direct-to-consumer sales.
